Tight time-frames, tight organisation

The Sovereign Hill subdivision has been an exercise in planning and logistics. We had a
14-week program to build a 70-lot subdivision—a tight timeframe in anyone’s estimation. However, the client walk-through took place yesterday, and all is going well for this job to be handed over on time.

This can be put down to having the right people on the job and equipping them with the right gear.

Two of our very experienced project managers supervised the job, one on-site overseeing operations, and one in the office taking care of resources. We also scheduled our best operators and labourers making for a very effective team.

Our good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors also worked to our benefit. We know our subcontractors well, and knew who would fit with the scope of the work and the team we had working.
